Palm Springs
Over Presidents Day weekend, we spent two nights in Rancho Mirage, which is just a few miles outside of Palm Springs. We stayed in a beautiful condo with some of our best friends. We had a great time together.

We also visited a place called The Living Desert. We saw many animals including hyenas, zebras, cheetahs, gazelles, and a giraffe!! Jack couldn't get enough of the petting zoo. I'm not sure the animals were quite so fond of him.

Calvin Basketball
While Daddy was actually AT Calvin (for the worship symposium) last weekend, Jack and I spent some time with family and friends. We headed to Long Beach to watch the Calvin/Hope basketball game via satellite. Even though Calvin lost, it was a close and exciting game... and it was just fun to be together, cheering on our alma mater. Jack put his new found clapping skills to good use.
Auntie Laura was the first one to put this sweatshirt on her kids... and it's been passed all the way down to Jack!
What do you think? A future Knight? Perhaps.... but no pressure. :)
Six alumni... and four future tuition payers?
We missed you, Daddy, and we're glad you're home!

Breakfast with Grandpa
Jack and his grandpa both like Cheerios for breakfast. They enjoyed their nutritious start to the day and discussed where NASA should send their next project... another mission to Jupiter, perhaps?
